I attach the pgn of my game below
Victory for me on board 4 with a satisfying mate on the back rank having tempted him into some foolishness. Game attached for your pleasure. On board 3 Ken fought a long and hard battle, in the end accepting a draw when down to 42 seconds on the clock against 4 minutes with king and rook and one extra pawn but a very closed position and no time to force a win. Board two saw Rod a knight down but I watched him fiercely regain 2 pawns to be 2 pawns up but a knight down. game also drawn. Board one saw Harry take on a dangerous opponent and I noticed a sinister open H file leading to his king which in the end was fatal and he was bested, alas. 2-2 and another draw for the Knaves, the search for our first win goes on to the next battle!
