Dear All, In the Club cupboard there are 17 complete chess sets, 14 folding boards, 16 digital clocks (8 new DGT 2010 and 8 older Saitek Competition Pro) and 18 analogue clocks. That should be adequate equipment for normal Club usage. Saitek Clocks These have recently been fitted with new batteries, programmed with some extra 'user settings' and returned to the cupboard. One of the settings is the 1h 35m league time limit, so there is no need to set this time limit yourself. I have created an instruction sheet (attached) and a laminated copy is in the cupboard. I will happily demonstrate to anyone how to set up the clock and move from one setting to another. Analogue Clocks Gerry and I did not test these clocks. It is quite possible that some are faulty, if you do use one and this is the case, please bring it to the attention of Gerry or myself so it can be withdrawn from use. In the future digital clocks are going to be the norm, so I would recommend that you use digital in preference to an analogue. Regards, Phil [guide for the old clocks also added to the 'how to' section in members here]
